Masterfully constructed by Rohn, this Tubing is a 16-gauge pre-galvanized, highly dependable mast. It is swaged with a locking joint at one end to prevent slipping or unwanted antenna rotation. When tubing is swaged, the metal is compressed and made thicker so that the joint becomes stronger than the original material, and the joint bulge is also eliminated. This hot-dipped galvanized tubing is fabricated from high-strength steel and then immersed in molten zinc to give all surfaces, including the interior, an even coating of zinc and maximum corrosion protection.
