Fixed Wireless

About Fixed Wireless

Fixed Wireless is a PTMP (Point to Multipoint) and PTP (Point to Point) wireless technology that leverages licensed or unlicensed microwave frequencies to wirelessly distribute data in a network. Where access to conventional broadband technologies like DSL or Cable is either not available or otherwise inadequate, fixed wireless can be used to build broadband infrastructure to deliver internet access to residential and business locations.

LTE or Long Term Evolution is the current standard for fixed and mobile wireless broadband communications. LTE offers superior NLOS (non-line of sight) and LOS (line of sight) communications offering superior wireless performance. Private LTE networks can scale far beyond the limits of standard WiFi or TDMA networks and offer broadband SLA’s (Service Level Agreements) to subscribers.
