Position Overview

As a member of the Technical Operations team, the Systems Engineer will provide technical expertise and pre- and post-sales support to our internal sales teams and customers. The Systems Engineer will recommend technology solutions based on application requirements and provide product technical training to MBSI WAV stakeholders.

Essential Job Functions

• Provide technical expertise and support to the Company’s sales team by:
• Participating in sales calls, customer and vendor meetings
• Providing design specifications and information to customers to help them understand the Company’s product offerings and solutions
• Using industry expertise to provide confidence and assurance to sales team and customers, providing requirements and recommendations to accomplish the customers’ goals
• Preparing Bill of Materials (BOMs) recommendations/requirements for customers and business partners
• Develop and maintain good personal relationships with existing and prospective customers
• Stay up-to-date and maintain a good knowledge base on all product lines providing solutions with respect to the lines offered
• Assist and provide technical insight, advice and/or recommendations in developing and implementing network strategies that will help facilitate sales growth across all product lines
• Participate in Company events, including partner events, roadshows, tradeshows, etc.
• Work closely with vendors and sales team to increase awareness of promotions
• Initiate and maintain long-term vendor relationships for future marketing business purposes
• Provide product technical training to strategic internal and external partners
• Perform other duties as assigned

Position Overview

The Warehouse Operations role is responsible for receiving products, filling customer orders, arranging for outbound product shipments and putting stock away in a manner that meets company standards for safety, security, and productivity. This role is also responsible for ensuring that all products are free from damage, and that the quantity, quality, labeling, and addressing of orders corresponds to customer specifications or other requirements.

Essential Job Functions

• Unload and load products in an efficient and safe manner
• Receiving:
• Physically count items on packing list/BOL, inspect packages for damage prior to signing for receipt with carrier
• Determine appropriate bin location to receive items in inventory
• Safely unpack items, and place in preferred or alternative location using appropriate material handling equipment
• Receive product into NetSuite against Purchase Order
• Report any discrepancies to Purchasing
• Scan packing list and attach to item receipt or purchase order in NetSuite
• All items must be received within NetSuite the same day they are physically received
• Inventory Management:
• Ensure all inventory is stored in a safe, neat and orderly manner
• Ensure all inventory is stored in the preferred or approved alternate bin locations
• Ensure all bin locations are clearly marked
• Outbound Shipping:
• Ensure accuracy of items picked compared to items on pick ticket
• Ensure proper and accurate packaging of all items
• Schedule shipment with appropriate carrier
• Ensure packing list is enclosed with all shipments
• Ensure proper shipping label is affixed to shipping package
• Material Handling and Packaging Equipment Use and Maintenance:
• Perform a safety check prior to using any material handling or packaging equipment
• Inform General Manager of anything requiring maintenance or repair
• Do not use any equipment that needs repair or is not safe to operate
• General warehouse housekeeping:
• Place garbage and recycling in appropriate receptacles as items are being unpackaged
• Sweep floors at the end of the day at minimum
• Replace all warehouse tools to their designated area at the end of each day; carts, brooms, material handling equipment

Position Overview

The Account Manager will work with existing and prospective customers to meet the customer’s needs and engage with the manufacturer and tech support to ensure customer success. The Sales Support Representative will use the CRM system to create quotes, process orders, and manage activity.

• Create quotes and process sales orders for customers via CRM system.
• Understand customer specific buying needs/special price offers to ensure accurate quotes, shipping costs, etc.
• Enter new client/lead information into CRM system – according to entry format and without error.
• Maintain current knowledge of internal systems and processes in order to increase the level of customer service to clients.
• Maintain current technical knowledge of all product lines offered by MBSI WAV, by attending inhouse and supplier trainings.
• Work with Purchasing to ensure inventory is available or drop ship purchase orders are placed to meet customer demands.
• Work with the Warehouse department to ensure product shipments meet the customer requirements.
• Work with the Accounting department to ensure that customer orders are processed, and credit related issues are communicated with customers.
• Assist in creating tailored, cost-effective technology solutions that provide the appropriate technical solution to meet the customer’s needs and positively impact a customer’s bottom line.
• Provide technical information and exceptional customer service to clients.
• Become proficient in the pricing models of all product lines offered by MBSI WAV.
• Assist in the customer and vendor RMA process as needed.
• Attend trade shows on an as needed basis.
• Light travel may be required.
